nodes, fully machined, hand-welted ferrules (similar to EW Edwards') generally

50 or FE Thomas 3 pc dry fly rods..

it is an older version, with no line guard. Good for a fine Salmon

rod is truly a pleasure to cast - built for small to medium water, it can
carry more line than most 7 footers, all the while remaining light and
accurate. The action may be described as light crisp-medium-fast progressive,
full, variable timing with a forgiving nature. If you fish flows between
20 to 150 cfs, all size dry flies for trout, this taper becomes an extension

with original signature wraps, solid bamboo, two full length tips, original
agate, bag, tip tube w/cap, tip tube sock, guides, ferrules, black walnut
plug for reel seat extension butt, extension butt missing. Mid is 1 5/8
short, but ferrule properly reset and wrapped. Needs one snake guide
wrapped on mid.
